One of the best MEHTUL releases of the past decade! Zakk's riffs are heavy as an elephant that just swallowed a ton of bricks! On this disc the songwriting has been stepped up a bit too. Just listen to songs like "Stillborn" and the title track and see how long they get stuck in your head for! Modern metal doesn't get much better than this.

This album is exactly what you would expect on a BLS record, but with a little extra! The riffs are all great and Zakk totally shreds (especially on the short instrumental), but he also shows his diversity on ballads like "In This River", "Dirt On The Grave" and the cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd's "I Never Dreamed". In fact, the only real flaw with this album is that there are a few too many songs. There are a lot of really good, catchy tracks, but there are also a few that just blend in with all the others. All in all though, a very good album.

Oy, what happened here? For some reason Zakk tries to go commercial by writing a shitload of half-assed ballads and mediocre modern-rock songs. There are a few good songs hidden here though if you're willing to look.
