Aerosmith-Greatest Hits (1980)     Columbia Records

1-Dream On (4:26)  2-Same Old Song And Dance (3:04)  3-Sweet Emotion (3:14)  4-Walk This Way (3:32)  5-Last Child (3:28)  6-Back In The Saddle (4:41)  7-Draw The Line (3:23)  8-Kings And Queens (3:49)  9-Come Together (3:45)  10-Remember (Walking In The Sand) (4:03)

I've never been a huge Aerosmith fan, so this should keep me satisfied. Pretty good album, with all of their early (and best) hits. Just good old fashioned blues-based hard rock. "Come Together" is a very well done Beatles cover...but you already knew that.

Favorite Tracks: Dream On, Last Child, Draw The Line

Aerosmith-Big Ones (1994)    Geffen Records

1-Walk On Water (4:55) 2-Love In An Elevator (5:21)  3-Rag Doll (4:24)  4-What It Takes (5:10)  5- Dude (Looks Like A Lady) (4:24)  6-Janie's Got A Gun (5:30)  7-Cryin' (5:09)  8-Amazing (5:56)  9-Blind Man (4:00)  10-Deuces Are Wild (3:35)  11-The Other Side (4:04)  12-Crazy (5:16)  13-Eat The Rich (4:11)  14-Angel (5:07)  15-Livin' On The Edge (6:21)

Why did I buy this? I have no idea. Decent collection of Aerosmith's later day hits...but their later hits all suck! The new song "Walk On Water" is awesome though, and their are actually some good tracks here. The radio hits "Love In An Elevator", "Rag Doll", "Dude (Looks Like A Lady)", and one of my favorites "Janie's Got A Gun" are all kinda catchy, but the rest is pretty bad. Avoid unless you're a die-hard fan, but in that case you probably own everything they've ever recorded anyway, so there's no point at all.

Favorite Tracks: Walk On Water, Janie's Got A Gun

Legendary hard rock band from Boston, Mass. One of those bands that I have a lot of respect for but am not a big fan of. A few "Best Of" packages should be all I ever need from them.
